Planting rice begins in northern province of Gilan

RASHT, May 10 (MNA) – Every year, the planting of rice seedlings begins in the paddy fields of Gilan province by the end of April. Transplanting is one of the stages of rice cultivation, in which rice seedlings (rice sprouts) are planted by farmers.
